CBS-Complete Business Solutions is an integrated document management and IT solutions company in Denver. We spent a day capturing both video and stills to help with a new marketing campaign created by The Creative Alliance in Lafayette, CO.

’09 was a big year for me and yoga. One new project that was started is a series highlighting the beauty of yoga postures set in beautiful landscapes. No good working title for the project exists yet, but here are a few of my favorites from this trip.

The last half of ’09 disappeared quickly! I’ll take the next few posts to get some of the projects completed represented here.
One great project came from my friends at Ubiquity in Denver for one of their Medical clients, Gambro. The good people at Boulder Community Hospital helped us out by allowing access to their ICU for the day. GOAL: Create a series of “Specialist Portraits” to be used in a new campaign. We ended up with many choices but here are two of my pics from the day.

Esak & Chau Kei.. and Mr. Osiris

Esak, Chau Kei & I continued this project through her term and even beyond. The end result.. Osiris Garcia is the most magical baby I’ve ever met (‘cept of course my two girls.. as babies..) These shots are from the last series we did at 8+ months and 2 from Osiris at one month.

Personal Project: Esak & Chau Kei

I met Esak and Chau Kei this past year through my Bikram Yoga practice. They are expecting their first child in January, and although she is 7-8 months pregnant, Chau Kei continues her daily practice and teaches regularly as well. I’m sure she will practice until her delivery date. Their highly evolved practice, beautiful bodies and love for each other made them an obvious attraction for a personal project. We are squeezing in sessions between afternoon schedules as often as possible as Chau Kei’s pregnancy progresses, and I will post updates as we go.

Esak and I have also collaborated on a video project focusing on Competitive Yoga. Being the champion in the 2005 International Asana Yoga Competition gives him a unique insight into the subject, and I expect to post an excerpt or two from that project soon.
